Leviticus
my SS has shackles on it already, but i dont know what brand they are. I want to have a 4" total drop on my rear when im done, and want to keep a good pinion angle. After reading thru Mr.P's writeup on lowering notes, i want to get mcgaughys lowering hangers and shackles. I would like to just keep the shackles i already have on though and just buy the hangers. So i was hoping that someone out there would be nice enough to measure their Mcgaughys shackles for me. Or if you know of a site with that info. The measurement from center of hole to center of hole on my existing shackle is 4.5". thanks guys from the Hawaiian / Alaskan
BigCountry
4.5" would be the stock shackles... Drop shackles would be closer to 7.5" center to center

Leviticus
so the mcgaughy 4" rear lowering kit that comes with shackles and hangers, the shackle measurment is 7.5" ?
BigCountry
mine are belltechs and are about 7.5" so the McGaughy's should be about the same.... The SS's come with the same shackles as all the other silverados. All the stockers are about 4.5"
