bubba3689
i was looking at some of the us speedo kits to change the gauges how hard are they to change and how hard is it to do the needles or are the needles have a notch so they go on right. I was thinking about the stainless steel kit with the matching needles
12'SROCK
it depends what level your on as a DIY type of person. they are easy to change none the less. u need to remove the dash bezel (frame), your gonna need to chalk your wheels and put the gear selector all the way down as well as the steering wheel. remove the 4 screws holding the gauges. pull out the guages and remove the harness clip that is in the back of guage cluster. with a flat screw driver pry the plasitc retaining clips that are around the housing to separte the 2 peices of the cluster (front and back pieces) appart. before you remove your needles take noteat what location they are at, as ther is no notch to put them back one way. then using the supplied tool that came with the new guages remove the needles, folowed by the plastic face plate. reverse the process for installation.......good luck Edited February 26, 2009 by 12'SROCK (see edit history)
