BenKey
Haven't done "no cats", but have purchased the highest flowing cats that are available. Made by Random Technologies - 3". Hope to get them on next week. They flow over 500cfm.
BigTex
Me. Not sure about any end loss. I removed the complete front pipes and cats when I installed my headers. I'm still running my stock muffler, so I have plenty of backpressure. Sounds really good, and smells like a good old American muscle, especially with the cam. 2bseen
Got my headers and stall put in today and was thinking about having a 3" pipe run to the muffler and didn't know about the back pressure.

chodorski
yes i also have cut off cats, stock front piping and stock muffler system,no back pressure problems, sounds awesome and i love the smell of good old gas out tail pipe. it also sounds like i have headers on the way the noise sounds going throught the aluminumised pipe. i'm very happy with doing this, plus it seems like a lot of other guys are getting theres pluged up.i have procharger with 8-9 psi and dont want to plug up mine and cause engine damage.
