04CHASE Posted March 1, 2009 Report Share Posted March 1, 2009 the k and n 2006 is the longer filter which will last longer . there is really little difference in filtration from the mobile or the k&n infact i remember a test that looked at them all and the k&n wasnt that impressive but not bad either. i think the one of the better ones was a wix filter( what napa sells as there filters) and that fram were not good at all as for how many microns they filtered. but the longer style filters are what i use . mostly just the napa or the moble 1 . the k&n isnt worth the price just the nice nut on the bottom which makes unscrewing it easy. but most of the time you get under there with the oil filter wrench before you remember the size the nut is.
