Fireman31
A 3000 stall should be fine, you should add a shift kit and alluminum accumulator pistons to your list of trans parts, plus a larger cooler. All I see is a servo in your sig, which brand of TC are you getting? I am running a 3000 stall PI on my truck and it is a daily driver, so you should be fine. Take a look in my garage for mods....... A past member here about 3-yrs ago had one in his SS, and it was not very efficient, the ATF ran really hot. I just remembered the member, Dan_Payne. Mr. P. Fireman31
TCI converters are known for being very loose as well......if you get it for a decent price, why not try it right?
