budhayes3
I've heard of a few Vig's breaking at the hub recently, don't know if it's a bad batch or if they've changed the way they build them. A very reputable builder who is actually a vendor of PI verters actually confirmed what I have learned and kinda steered me away from them. I was set on a PI Vig myself but now I'm kinda leary. I've been very impressed with CircleD and what they have to offer, their StageIII billet series is about the same price as a triple disc Vig and they "dare you to break it"

Yes, a 9.5" really isn't the best choice for a DD, you are better off with a 10.5". In terms of the input hub, yes there have been a couple of failures of them here, but not all of them were from a faulty converter......I believe one was because of a bent flexplate or imbalanced crankshaft. For the most part, the PI Vilgilante is a proven converter, a good number of the fastest trucks here are running PI converters. I don't care who the manufacturer is, every brand of converters has their subtle little flaws.
