03_SS_22
I have a 2/4 and I want to go back to stock height in the front and leave 2" in the back. how should i raise the rear? i have mcgaughy's shackle and hanger kit in the rear. move the shack and hanger one hole over? how about the pinion angle? i have the shackle and hanger on the top setting Edited June 14, 2009 by 03_SS_22 (see edit history)
Bluestreak04
I would probably change out the Hanger (if you still have you stock one) and leave the shackle. It would be like adding the shackles to a stock truck. I didn't think the hanger was adjustable. The pinion angle should be good, but may need a 2 deg shim. Bluestreak04
Don't know for sure. I've read where some trucks do have the shim, but most don't. Thats why I said maybe, not all the trucks are the same. I don't have shims on mine but I do have a slight vibration at about 70mph.
