mike1booth
I am leaving tomorrow night to begin my Air Force career. My afsc is open mechanical and i am more than likely going to take a six year contract. So first stop is Lackland and who knows where ill be after that. But im sure i will get to meet some more members wherever i end up. This is going to be the biggest change in my life, as a kid who has lived in the same house my whole life. So i have no idea what to expect. But my old man is going to watch the truck and drive it around form time to time. Itll be hard being away from but i have something to look forward to when i get back. let me know what you think and share some experiences

Stitches040
Good luck to you and your Air Force career ... Two things to remember ... #1 - Don't take what the DI's say (Yell and Scream) to you in Boot Camp personal. In 10 seconds, they will be yelling at the guy standing next to you for something even more stupid .... #2 - Lackland AFB - Texas during the summer ... Drink a lot of water ... Have fun ...
