PewterC3
this weekend.....run your SS flat out on the banked oval. If you still have the stock limiter it might not be much fun though! I plan on taking the C3 to the new 130mph limiter. It's already seen 120 and was still pulling strong before I hit traffic. http://www.texasmotorspeedway.com/speedway...nfo/charity.asp

xxjiggaxx
That sounds like a lot of fun!! Could there be a better way to celebrate my birthday than to drive my truck around the track at 120+?? How many people usually show up to these events? -Matt
PewterC3
I plan on trying to get my son to ride along(I heard you can have one rider for an additional donation) to take vids. If I get some I'll post a link. Not sure how many people attend, this is my 1st one!

PewterC3
the radio said 2 "warm up" laps then they turn you loose...guess they were wrong? 80 mph....what's the point?
ssjonathan
Just a bit on info. They had that at Atlanta Motor Speedway a few years ago. It is true that they pace you at 80 MPH, but if you wait til late in the afternoon they don't have as many cars and we got up to 115.So you can have alittle fun you just have to pick the time when alot of people are beginning to leave.
