zachm89
apparently there was a recall on the good for up to 7 years/70,000 miles from production date...i had the same problem with mine right after i bought the truck, but mine broke at 72,000 miles and the dealer refused to fix it under warranty. I ended up ordering a new cluster from a guy on EBAY that programs them to your VIN, miles and hours. He's cheaper than the dealerships would be to replace them and you get a core charge back when you send in your broken cluster. Ive had good luck with the one i got so far, no issues at all. Or you could tear into the cluster you have and replace the stepper motor for the speedo and hope all the other gauges keep working.

zachm89
no problem, replacing the stepper motor will definitely be the less expensive route. am i sensing some cluster lighting changes while youre at it??
