noweeds.net
Not sure whats up here mabee im crazy but shouldn't the headliner and coorisponding vinyl parts be same color as rest of interior!
dcairns
Your right, that does look weird. But it does seem to be the way they intended to build it. Look at Mervz photo of the prototype. It does not show as well, but you can see it is the same. I wonder if they only make one color headliner, to save costs
Krambo
My vehicle detail states: Headliner, Shale-colored cloth, w/ matching retainer moldings Visors, padded, Shale-colored, driver & passenger side cloth w/ trim, extenders & vanity mirror on passenger side I ordered the BLACK SS. They should have made an effort to color match this.
Admin Mervz Posted February 28, 2003 Author Admin Report Share Posted February 28, 2003 guys, I assure you, it doesn't look that bad in person. In fact, it makes the whole vehicle feel larger with the lighter colored headliner.
H-D F-150
That is very lame. It looks like Chevy is following Dodge on this one. I noticed that on their trucks, and I hate it.
Heldonss
That is very lame. It looks like Chevy is following Dodge on this one. I noticed that on their trucks, and I hate it. Well....GM has been doing it since 98 with the new 99 Silverado. It doesn't bother me....and I am very picky!
dcairns
Mervz is right, you really don't notice it normally. I looked at a black SS yesterday, and never noticed. On the other hand, it sure does seems weird when you look at it on purpose.
variant
it adds more light to the interior, creates contrast... ect...
