Krambo
Personally, I have always liked the SRT-10 Ram. I applaud Dodge for making extreme vehicles available as production models (SRT series), they are not afraid to bend the rules even if they will not make a profit on it. kelleyperformance
why cant we all just get along....? As far as I was aware, production for the SRT10 Dodge Truck ended in 2006 with just over 8,000 units sold from 2004 -2006. It was produced in both regular and quad cab. I have not heard anything about a new SRT10 and I didnt think Chrysler was in a position to build such a vehicle, especially since it was a EPA rated at 9 city and 12 highway. Regardless, it was capable of 0-60 in the high 4's and high 12's or low 13's 1/4 mile times. The quad cab had an automatic and the regualr cabs had a T56 manual. Quick trucks. And I doubt GM will ever build an SS truck in the next 5 years. With CAFE requirements sky rocketing by 2016, they cant afford to. Be lucky that the camaro and corvette will stick around past 2016 (corvette has a good chance of making it, but I sense this is the last horah for the camaro. It might run for 3-5 model years, but thats it). Isnt the next generation vette due out in 2011 or 2012 anyways? for the record- your giving the SRT10 more credit than due. i have a reg cab T56, runs low 13s... (lightly modded) buddy has a quad cab, runs SOLID 14s (heavy emphasis on that SOLID part ). oh yeah... and i get 10.7 mpg he gets 6.

CrAzYMoPaRGuY
I actually like the SRT10 Rams a lot. I looked at buying one for a family vehicle a few years ago. They have a nice look, they drive really nice and they have decent power. My neighbour bought one for a daily driver work truck, he owns an excavating company! He would come home with his truck covered in mud, or he would be in a foot of snow in the winter, it was actually pretty funny. He had it for about two years. The biggest drawback of the SRT10 Rams by far is the gas mileage. I know several people who own or have owned them, most love the truck but don't want to pay half their income into their gas tanks. When I looked at one it was probably 2004 or 2005, the truck was in the showroom for $73,000 Canadian. *waits for Canadian money jokes*
misterp
a dealership nearby just got a single cab black dodge srt10 in looks fast... They're not that fast - they run 13.3 - 13.5. But I love the styling. It's still a Dodge though. Mr. P.

I love most of the SRT vehicles especially the the SRT-10 ram and the Grand Cherokee SRT8. I think the 20006 ram SRT with the upgraded front fascia was the nicest of them all, its too bad they ended production I'm all for a good looking truck with a big engine.
