boSSsho
I have an 08 Sierra Denali and I have set of SS wheels I run all spring, summer and fall and I am sick of my TPMS message on at every start up. I would assume the Silverado SS did come with a TPMS system...does anyone have a recommendation of where to get 4 sensors? Thanks so much. kelleyperformance
none of the SSS trucks came with sensors. you will need new ones, but they have to be the new truck style or they will not work. any sensor or replacement aftermarket sensor (like from tirerack) will work just fine as long as its the rubber kind, like from 07-up trucks/suvs. the kind that takes a lock nut, like from a corvette and older truck generally will not work. (theres a p/n with the lock nut that does work comes with GM accessory wheels, but its not the same as any of the older ones) PM me if you cant find them i have the p/n's at work

Ok, so the SSS did NOT come with TPMS, but I can at least get some that work with the NBS 07 and up trucks. Do all GM's wheels have the same stem opening diameter so that when I get some NBS TPMS's they will fit with the older style SS Wheels? I will PM you for the part numbers unless you think Tire Rack has a good price on ones that will work just as nicely?

So the NTH 921021 is just the TPMS, but I still need the rubber valve stems?? Are those GM rubber valve stems?

Are those GM rubber valve stems? no that number is complete, sensor and valve stem. but if you reuse your stock sensors, all youd need is the valve stem which is available seperately @ $5 each. basically the sensor is a little black rectangle that screws into the back of the valve stem. and since they break quite often when attempting to swap them, its just easier to get new ones IMO. kelleyperformance
hold the lock and unlock on the key fob till the truck honks twice. then you start with the tool at the front left, front right, rear right, and rear left. each time it learns the truck will honk, after it learns the last one it will honk twice if everything is learned correct.
