BTW the trim cap is held on with double-sided tape and possibly a fastner or two from inside the mirror, I have not disassembled one but I know you have to take the mirror apart to remove the trim cap. 20_blkss_04 Posted October 13, 2009 Report Share Posted October 13, 2009 no i sandddded so much before i threw any primer down! i did the same routine for my grill and it has two extreeeeeemly tiny pits and thats it! i think it came out awsome considering it was a regular chrome one and i herd nutin but no no no no it will chip and crack and flake!
