Nitrogen

Mine are nitrogen filled, I don't know if it gets better MPG but I have noticed that the tire pressure "stays" for a longer period of time. Maybe that is where they get "better MPG" because we all know an under-inflated tire doesn't help MPG. So I don't have to check em as often.

it does help with pressure loss with temperature changes. but you can never get the full benifit of nitrogen because there isnt a machine out yet that can full replace all the air in the tire with nitrogen. none the less its worth the cost for peace of mind. :) gary

If you have to pay for it then its a waste of money. If you can check your tire pressure once a month and keep your tires properly inflated there is no reason to run nitrogen in your tires. Now if you feel like wasting $20-40 every time you get your tires pumped up be my guest. Just another way for companies to make money off of lazy people.
