ProOutlaw
As I did not lower my front myself by turning the Torsion adjustment bolts. Can someone educate me on what the "keys" are for and what they do. I ask the dealer that lowered the front (torsion bars) and they said that there were no "keys" needed. They just turned the bolts. Thanks!
GnatGoSplat
The keys give you more turns before the bolts bottom out. That's all. They don't improve ride quality or anything of the sort.
rdss
I thought the keys maintained the stock tornsion when you lowered it 2", correct me if I am wrong, I have never done them before. If they do not, I might have to reconsider doing them and just go with the spindles.
TBSS
GnatGoSplat is correct. Lower a torsion bar equipped vehicle, the suspension gets sloppy. Raise it - it gets bouncy. Doesn't matter one iota if you do it by replacing the keys or turning the bolts. The main purpose of the keys is to do a preset torsion bar adjustment without having to worry about running out of threads while fiddling with the bolts.
