brobradh77 Posted December 7, 2009 Report Share Posted December 7, 2009 That fight absolutley sucked compared to what everyone expected it to be...I would have bet everything this fight would end in the first round by KO either Kimbo or Houston...Kimbo showed ground game improvement but that fight was boring...maybe i expected too much from this one. He tried to fight outside what he actually knows how to do and that's stay in the pocket and bang. Until he gets surgery, he will always have to worry about it. Very uneventful but Kimbo almost put Houston down. He needs a LOT more ground work though. BlkSSnCpt Posted December 7, 2009 Report Share Posted December 7, 2009 i was surprised it went to decision, really surprised!!! but Alexander looks to have fallen for the hype Kimbo possed about the power in his hands, which honestly Alexander definately has more of. both are heavy handed but Houstan has more power. anyways i had Houstan winning by tko, take out his lead leg then eventually get a ko or stoppage but again i think he just fell for the major hype on Kimbo's hands. but on that note Kimbo looked great(for him) on the ground and his footwork looked greatly improved from his previous fights, also he was smart about not just bum-rushing Houstan and risk getting KO'd. still i was a bit disappionted in the fight... -Rob Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
