12'SROCK
Well I recently got a 9.5" PI 3600 stall and man is it AMAZING!! The truck feels damn great with it and always keeps my in the power band with the shift extensions only droping about 1000rpm or so. It flashes to 3600 rpms and I can brake stall it to 3000 rpms. Here are some videos of cruising and the WOT punch and then rolling in the throttle from a dead stop (LOTs of wheel spin ) 0-110 mph and trying to do a WOT run. Enjoy all runs were done on a closed course http://videos.streetfire.net/video/New-Vig...tall_726080.htm http://videos.streetfire.net/video/New-Vig...tall_726081.htm

black00chev
So nasty man How is drivability with it? Mainly say if you were in 4th cruising at 55, what RPM will it run? And if you are just cruising light throttle around town and start to get in the throttle, does it always stall up to 3k and higher? Never driven a vehicle with a higher stall verter then stock

Never driven a vehicle with a higher stall verter then stock Well the drivability is great for me.. If you are not used to stalled autos it does take some time to get used to them. The RPM depens on your tire size and gear ratio not the converter. If you lock it on the freeway then the stall goes into 1:1 so it would be at normal RPMs. Depending on how much throttle is given will determine the flash speed, so no it doesnt allways to 3K.. Stalled autos are bad ass to drive!
black00chev
So pretty much other then when leaving from a stop, its not much different then normal untill you get on it. No it stalls higher than a stock stall when going from a stop.. Its kind of hard to explain. You need to give it more throttle to move in other words... black00chev
Yea the leaving part I know, from riding in my buddies '67 camaro and '70 nova. Cruising always seemed like normal untill you romp on it and it just flashes and goes.

Have him let you drive it so you can get a feel of the converter
black00chev
No idea, but yea he's been sayin he might let me drive the nova, has a 406sb i think? and think the camaro is a 402bb... nova is faster.
