j4nash
I called Bassani and they said that there muffler that would work for our trucks will be similar to the magnaflow but I will be a deeper sounding muffler and that add cursing speeds the muffler will quite down so that there is not really any cab noise. but he said that it will sound allot better then folwmaster and that it will be more aggressive sounding but have a better flow then them and it will be quieter at cursing speeds. red64chevelle
For the people out there using Flowmaster Super 40 series mufflers; What part number are you using and can you post/e-mail some pics so that I can duplicate it? Thanks in advance.
vette dude
I will be using this setup... IMHO It would be the best for a boosted especialy a turbo aplication... I doubt i will loose power with this as i am taking out my cats and adding the headers when i go to this... I guess i will just have to wait and see. http://laneswheels.com/3x12_bullets.mov

deezel
Our stock "y-pipe" is 2.5" OD pipe. I think it steps up to 2.75" for the short run before the muffler. I believe BigTex has custom 3" pipe up to his headers...
j4nash
so before the muffler it is 2.75 and after it is 3in.
