I'm thinking about trying it but the main question I have is how would I get the plastic center cap to match? I have always liked the polished alum look and weight over chrome and I can do it but its hard to bring a polished alum look to plastic? 12'SROCK Posted January 2, 2010 Report Share Posted January 2, 2010 I was thinking the same about polishing the wheels. But the plastic is the problem. I know on the guys with the OEM chrome wheels we have a metal piece over the plastic for the lug covers but I dont know if it is steel or aluminum. hskrs10 Posted January 2, 2010 Report Share Posted January 2, 2010 Unless you find some chrome caps and polish the crap out of the wheels, If you do that the wheels will match the center cap.
