SSmoothSilSS
Why are they keeping this so quiet? http://www.wnd.com/index.php?pageId=61488
ss454327
That has been known about for several years. What about the monster find in the gulf? Did you hear about that one? Also you know we import as much oil as the Bakken holds in a year right? Edited January 21, 2010 by ss454327 (see edit history)
SS Silv
New rigs are popping up all the time in ND, and a whole lot more will be in the near future. I think what is taking so long to drill is purchasing the mineral rights from the farmers/land owners.. Put it this way, there are a lot of farmers who were making 30 to 50k a year who are getting checks issued for 1 to 2 million to purchase their land. I have a lot of friends in the oil business in ND and they are making bank!! Edited January 21, 2010 by SS Silv (see edit history)
Eddie
I thought the government's policy is to buy everyone else oil until it runs out. Only then use our oil.
