ivin74 Posted January 28, 2010 Report Share Posted January 28, 2010 I just installed the magnaflow 2in 2 out on my SSS but its two loud. I love the sound but when it gets in the 1800 plus rpm it gets too loud in the cab where its hard to carry a conversation with my wife and she hates it.. how can I tone it down with out replacing my magnaflow (I love the magnaflow sound). zachm89 Posted January 28, 2010 Report Share Posted January 28, 2010 which case size did you go with? easiest way to quiet it down would be to get some resonators placed infront of the muffler. magnaflow makes some that im actually running as mufflers. Bear Posted January 29, 2010 Report Share Posted January 29, 2010 I’m running the 22” case Magnaflow without converters and long-tubes and I felt it was way too loud as well, so I installed Dynomax Bullet’s in each pipe going into the muffler and it helped quite a bit.
