iramos114
So I took my truck to get an alarm installed, and was told that the tachometer needs to be reset! Hmmmmmm! I was told to return, and that they would fix it. The tach is constantly moving from zero to about the 2 during idle. It increases with acceleration, however it moves up and down all the time??? Does anyone have an idea what could have happened?
BlueAKSSS
Just a guess but maybe they tapped into the (white) tach wire off the computer and messed something up, or your instrument cluster is going out if your under 70k just take it to the dealer and they will replace the cluster for free.
