BiggieSS Posted June 7, 2004 Report Share Posted June 7, 2004 I need to know what the current seat height is with the mcgaughy's kit installed? here is my situation i am in a wheelchair and i am looking to get a silverado ss. how the silverado sits stock the seat is too high for me to get into it. and i am wanting to know if i get the mcgaughys kit if it will lower the truck enough to let me get into it, so if you could tell me what kit you have and what the height of the seat is i would be greatly appreciative. thanks guys! MustBBrent Posted June 7, 2004 Report Share Posted June 7, 2004 Welcome. sorry I can't help you much, I lowered mine by turning 4.5 turns on the torsion bars and added a 1.5" rear lowering shackle set from Belltech. $50 and only about an inch all around. SuperSport Posted June 7, 2004 Report Share Posted June 7, 2004 Biggie, if you have the stock seat highth of an SS right now you should just be able to take that measurement and subtract around 3 to 4 inches depending on how low you go with the kit.
