Remove Rear Lift Blocks

You can remove the blocks without worry of any issues. You would be best served by purchasing the u-bolts for a regular 2WD model though, as they are shorter. Some re-use their existing bolts and just stack washers or some other form of spacer so that the nuts will tighten down, but I’m sorry, that just isn’t me.

Yea I was thinking that I needed new u-bolts. What is the exact purpose of those blots is it to support the extra weight for towing.

 

I think there just longer for the lift blocks, so that's why you would have to use spacers.
