ReDSiLvYSS
Ok I know that someones asked this question before, but I cant find it. I also believe people didnt like em. But, what do people feel about the E3 plugs? I have them sitting on the shelf and while Im putting headers on... I figured do the plugs. If not those what should I get? Thanks
Jordmagg
Ive had the E3s in my truck for a year and theyve been just fine. I used em with the Granatelli wires. I know others have mentioned theyve had issues with them, butt I havent experienced anything adverse.
ReDSiLvYSS
Ok. I have them, so I might just use them. Headers wont be here till Tuesday so Im still open for any others opinions. Also has anyone used these summit plug wires? http://www.summitracing.com/parts/SUM-887830/?rtype=
Fireman31
There was member here who had a bad experience with the E3's, from what I remember, he had a misfire issue or something similar with those plugs.....
Fireman31
Since you will be installing headers, you need a wire with a short spark plug boot like Taylor 409's. Longer boots like the MSD's and the Summit ones you posted have been problematic for some. The long boot tends to lay on the header primaries..... kevinthegreat
when i tried the e3 plugs my truck wouldnt idle worth a damn and would stall at a stop sign. i replaced them with stock iridiums and straightened right up. i also bought msd's 8mm wires and they work great with my pacesetter lts. the boots are long but they can be bent and moved away from the headers. just my .
