RICE EATER Posted September 3, 2010 Report Share Posted September 3, 2010 buddy of mine just picked up an early 00 -02 that he was told it was a 6.0 lq4...but its got got iron heads...just curious if the block is the same as the later LQ4s.. just picked it up for a build so im curious of any of the specs anyone know anything?? You could also do a search on here or even sometimes wikipedia can give you some good information or someone else will chime in here that will know for sure! chpspecial Posted September 5, 2010 Report Share Posted September 5, 2010 From what I've read it also has the oddball longer crank so just a heads on that YEs, the crank mounting surface to the flywheel is longer, and will cause problems when mounting up a 4l6x trans.
