rojo_143
Well i recently just lowered my truck and installed new inner tie rod on the passenger side and a new wheel bearing on the driverside. I am now experiencing a low speed humm and a small vibration in the steering wheel an gas pedal that can only be heard when i am maintaining low speed with very little preassure on the gas pedal or when i let of the gas pedal all together. it only last momentarily(sp?) and does not always happen. Any ideas??
jon1178
are your tires cupped? rotate your front tires to the back and have your alignment checked.
rojo_143
no tires are brand new with less than 1000 miles on them. It has something to do with the drivetrain/ driveline.
page305
This happened to me about 2 months ago. In my case it turned out to be that the hub housing "knuckle" was damaged from letting my hub get so bad before fixing it. The other possible cause I got was a wearing front differential. I haven't fixed it yet, so I don't have a 100% answer but that's what I was told by the mechanic.
