But i was wondering if there was anything i needed to do to the differentials or tranny before or during this process. Any info would be appreciated. f1ss Posted September 28, 2010 Report Share Posted September 28, 2010 It depends what you are doing with the truck. What are your goals? How many miles do you have? Have you serviced your transmission before? If you do LT headers, cai, and exhaust you should be able to get a tune to tighten up your shifts and your set. But if you plan on doing more, you will want to beef it up like stated. These transmissions are luck of the batch, some have problems stock, some have mods and get away with some good power.
