joeyg Posted October 21, 2010 Report Share Posted October 21, 2010 Hey if you've got a Wheatley or Blackbear, Zippy tune and you want to let's say install fog lights, for which there's a reflash of the BCM, is there a prob? I did this before (fog light install and a radio upgrade one time) and I put the truck to factory settings just incase. 70chevy03ss Posted October 21, 2010 Report Share Posted October 21, 2010 I don't think there is a problem. I had the fog lights installed prior to getting my tune and had no problem. chpspecial Posted October 21, 2010 Report Share Posted October 21, 2010 It should not be a problem as the BCM and PCM are two different modules. the problem lies in that if you take your truck for service and there is an update calibration to the PCM they MIGHT do it with out you knowing.
