DBTKDT
On my wifes 2004 Yukon Denali about two months ago i was coming home from a trip and all the sudden like someone flipped a switch, there was a weird noise that appeared? Its like a low pitch hollowing sound? Very hard to discribe? I'm thinking maybe a ground came loose or something on that track? Has anyone had this happen to them? Where are all the ground locations at and how many? Thanks for any feedback. Its really driving me nuts!
yfz450_0569
You sure it's not a whine from your front differential? Does it do it all the time, or only under certain RPMs/throttle positions?

Does it do it all the time, or only under certain RPMs/throttle positions? Good thought but i did that already around 55,000 miles. It for sure sounds like something electricial? At least i think so? Fireman31
Is it a whistling/whining noise that changes with engine RPM?
DBTKDT
Is it a whistling/whining noise that changes with engine RPM? So hard to discribe? Kinda a low pitch grouning sound? It does not change with the rpm.

DBTKDT
I also noticed today that it seems to get louder when i throttle up? Not to much louder but for sure it gets louder in sound? What does a bad ground sound like?
