ssjeff71
Anyone having their ABS light and chiming on a regular basis after replacing front hubs? Do you think it's a compatibilty issue or program issue?
chpspecial
You might have used hubs with the incorect reluctor wheel.
ssjeff71
Bought them through Napa. Had the correct part #s. I'll check though thanks.
70chevy03ss
Do you have a gauge hooked up at all. I now that I had my an aftermarket gauge hooked up and I burnt the fuse out. It was the fuse panel that was under the dash. Check it out it fixed the problem
ssjeff71
Nope, all stock. The chime happens a lot without the light coming on most of the time but I also get the ABS working when I come up to a stop sign on normal dry pavement. It just seems like a quirk that these trucks have and thought someone out there has come across this with a solution. Do you have a gauge hooked up at all. HAULIN SS
i have the same problem. The dealer said that the wheel speed sensors are in a exposed location where breaking is common. the abs will engage 3 times then it will automatically disable itself leaving you with the abs warning light
