ChinoHillian Posted November 12, 2010 Report Share Posted November 12, 2010 (edited) i'm currently at 65,000 miles on my '04 and was wondering what trans to go with. i have thought about buying a shift kit and a servo or two for the truck but i figured just getting a built transmission was the better way to go. anyways, i'm wonder which one to go with? built 4l60 or 4l65? and what gains should i see on the truck and how much money am i looking at spending from someone who wont rape me on price? or if i should buy the shift kit and servos, then i'm all ears. . . 04CHASE Posted November 13, 2010 Report Share Posted November 13, 2010 your right around the corner from the toy shop . they build a solid trans and give you a warranty. before you ask them a full build is about 1800 + converter. they have mild builds with shift kits and servos as well . if you want more info pm me or google them. imo figure out your plans/budget before anything though.
