I have always shyed away from differential work from the horror stories and lack of knowledge. It was not as bad as I expected even after the research. Lindeland Posted June 12, 2013 Report Share Posted June 12, 2013 I know this thread is older but I was having my axel seals replaced on my front differential and went had it apart I noticed on the drivers side that the lock in the adjuster was broken off. Would I have to take apart the whole differential to replace the lock? Only reason I was replacing the seals replaced was because they were leaking.
