silverado777
What bulb did you use for that? H13. But its doesn't seal very well and there might be a better bulb to use. I had a spare set laying around so i threw them in. I put plenty of black rtv sealent around it to seal it up.
Stitches040
What? that sucks... I'm running Silverstar's for both the DRL's and the directionals... They just make the front end look cleaner This is the same exact setup I'm running ... I love the look when they are not illuminated. They do shine a bright amber when activated ... Sucks if they no longer make them.

CTSSS
lol thats funny a lot of the newer vehicles are coming standard with the blue hid's yeah but here hids are illegal if they are aftermarket, the ones that come stock are fine, but if you put them in yourself in reflective housings....illegal

silverado777
Anyone using these for their DRL / turn signals? I think it will make the front look cleaner when the lights are off. http://www.stealthauto.com/Products/Stealth-Bulbs---ChromeMirror-Signal-Bulbs-3157-(Pair)__ALT-SBCA-3157.aspx Edited January 6, 2011 by silverado777 (see edit history)

diggerdan11
I had some stealth bulbs just like those and I think they got so hot they melted and melted the plastic harness they plug into. I had to go to the junkyard to get new wiring harnesses. Im sticking with regular or LED bulbs now
O2 WS6 TA
For you guys running Silverstars, I have 'em all around the truck, including clear in the DRLs, which incidentally are modded to the all 6 on feature- I tend to manually turn off the DRLs during the day, but have had lots of problems with the DRL Silverstars burning out- WAY premature. Like, within a week or two. Anyone else? So far, the tails and turns have held up well, but the DRLs hate me.
