silverss05
Today on my way to work someone in front of me stopped at a green light in the rain. I had to slam on my brakes not to hit them. When I did this there was a clunk sound come from what sounded like the right rear. Is there any thoughts on what that could have been? SSplaytoy
Stupid question, but did you have anything in the bed that may have slid forward when you hit the brakes?
silverss05
No there was nothing in the bed.
SSplaytoy
Check all the calipers and rotors to see what may have made the noise. Maybe a component is loose somewhere on the truck and that's what made the sound. The truck still brakes and drives alright?
Fireman31
Did your ABS kick in when you panic stopped? If not, check for a loose caliper bolt or caliper bracket bolt.....

I just replaced my rotors and pads about 2 months ago. I did a visual inspection today and noticed I have one lug nut missing. I wounder if that is what the sound was from. Guess its time to recheck all my lug nuts.
SSplaytoy
It's a possibility if you have a loose wheel
