jtmarine02
I'm converting an 04 SSS to electric fans and upgrading the Alternator to a DR44G 1454 amp. I bought the new "bigger" belt to compensate for the bigger pulley on the alternator but am wondering how the belt is going to be run now. I'm installing the HPM electric fans and the DR44G Alternator with the Goodyear gatorback V-belt #4060930. Thanks in advance for any input... chpspecial
same as your stock belt routing. FYI, the alt pulley is the same size, the difference is that the housing in the 145amp alternator is bigger, therefore moves the center of the pulley out. This is what requires a bigger belt
