Hankook Ventus AS 275/45-20 They are going to look a little out of place until I get the 2/4 going on, but im happy with them.
jddmj
So Saturday, Carl taught me how to do the bumper gap mod. We got that completed, and I like my bumper cover alot better now. We done a few touch ups under the hood, and called it a day. Today, I got the call from the wheel shop today to come get my wheels. Ran and got em put on, stop by Advance Auto and got some Black Box (cause I dont know how to use the mean stuff, and Im on a budget lol), then came home and washed it real good. In the morning, Im going to polish a good one, and maybe take it to the cruise in, in town Saturday. Enjoy the picsof the new wheels, and the bumper gap mode...... Before the wash. Close up of the rims After the wash, and before being dried. After being dried, but before the Black Box
jddmj
Spent the day yesterday waxing my truck with Turtle Wax Black Box. I know that it isn't correcting an issue, but covering it up. The fact of the matter, is that im afraid of screwing the paint on up so I went this route for now. I like the outcome it gave me overall though. I think it looks great, and it is really easy to use. Please overlook picture quality. Just crappy cell phone pics lol Before and after on some clear coat scratches (Please overlook the shopping bags in the back, I was using them to hold supplies during the waxing process) Before After Edited July 16, 2011 by jddmj (see edit history)

dgrov3r
Hey those wheels look awesome I want them in 22". Thats a really nice looking rig, and the drop will really set it off....whats the bumper gap mod?
jddmj
The bumper gap mod is where u take the bumper brackets, and modify them to move the bumper up to close the gap between the bumper and the marker lights. jddmj
It has been awhile since I updated my build. I have done quit a bit since the last post. So here it goes. Got a 2/4 drop put on a few months ago. Shorter front spring, Belltech rear hangers, and shackles. Belltech shocks on all corners. Got the basic layout done to this mod this evening. I purchased some ABS plastic, and started modding the pocket for a vacuum gauge. MPG's FTW! It temporary until I can get a gauge pod, and some other gauges. Next on the list is to get the vacuum hooked up, then I am going to start doing the LED mod to the interior. Should be interesting.

jddmj
My truck finally got its ears lowered. I was worried they wouldn't look right, but I really like the way they came out. Excuse the dirt, its been nasty for the past week.
