Arts05SS Posted April 5, 2011 Report Share Posted April 5, 2011 I got my Pioneer P4300 installed last week but Ive been wondering if there is a USB plug/adapter/bung that can be put in one of the slots under the "SS" logo on the dash? The new trucks come with a usb hook up and im wondering if there is something similar for our trucks. Dont really want any wires coming out of my dash to plug in into my ipod. juriha Posted April 5, 2011 Report Share Posted April 5, 2011 Dunno if this helps, but my buddy ran his USB cable into his glove box and just hooks his iPod up in there and then closes it so you dont even see the iPod at all...since the H/U is capable of controlling the iPod completely. paulguy Posted April 5, 2011 Report Share Posted April 5, 2011 I hate to admit it, but clarion makes a nice cigarette to USB adapter You can pull out on of you power plugs and install the clarion piece in place of it. goaly_19 Posted April 5, 2011 Report Share Posted April 5, 2011 hey man go to a computer store if you want to mount in in the dash i did it in my friends truck and ran a usb spliter to go to the glove box so he could use his i pod and a usb storage device too.
