idahoBLKss Posted May 24, 2011 Report Share Posted May 24, 2011 ive laid stripes b4 . i would have a friend help you out with it and just do it dry dont use application fluid it will lay allot nice dry. steps i would take is clean the car/truck with soap and water REALLY GOOD specially if you use drive through car washes cause of the rain x and water repellent stuff they spray on your car to keep it spot free will not let the vinyl apply to your paint. second, i would go get a laser line and map out where you want your strips on your car or if you have to use a chalk line even just make sure you dont get any chalk under your vinyl or you will see it under the vinyl . third , take your time when applying it , you hold one side and have your friend hold the other up as you squeegee the vinyl down. here are some stripes i did a year ago or so , Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
