Mike Frey Posted July 3, 2011 Report Share Posted July 3, 2011 Hey guys, im looking into e-fans on my 99 silverado 5.3 which is better? to have the E-fans run on a toggle switch? or to get a harness and everything and have it tuned for E-fans? misterp Posted July 3, 2011 Report Share Posted July 3, 2011 Well, running them off a toggle switch works, but inevitably you will accidentally leave them on and run the battery flat one day. Since you have Justin tuning your truck, I would add a harness and have them triggered off the PCM; you will also have to trigger low-fan operation when the A/C compressor is engaged. Mr. P.
