stevet8754
ive been noticing that the plastic cover on my tailgate is comming lose. and the center of it is all crappy ( can be cleaned with goo-gone) due to the rubber seal of my LEER bed cover. whats under the plastic cover?. it hurt anything if i take it off? special glue or sticky tape to worry about if i were to take it off to try and re-attach it? clips or snaps holding it on?. just dont know and dont want to go tearing into my truck without having an idea of what im getting into. canadianVRss
Two strips of double sided sticky tape. Retardedly hard to get off. You have to chemically strip it off the tail gate and wire wheel it off the plastic cap.

Hankg42
I let the truck sit in the sun for a while to warm it up, then just used my fingers to push & roll the double sided tape off. Not a real easy or pleasant task, but I eventually got it all off. Really didn't take all that long.
