jimmychapmanjr Posted August 20, 2011 Report Share Posted August 20, 2011 ok i have a 2003 silverado ss (bone stock).....ive blown 2 trannys this year alone....i do a lil street racing and im looking to add a charger or turbo perhaps nos too..so the tranny rebuild has to be able to withstand that...so i need to know WHAT TO DO FIRST.....i only want the best of the best ... im new to this SS thing ive only had my truck for 2 years now.....so if you guys could shine some light on this for me it would be great... I think the best bet for you would be a 4L80E swap, if u search for it on here there's alot of useful information about the swap and all that's required. That can help determine what trans you should go for. edit-I know you will go F/I, possibly nos but are you shooting for a 10 second pass? Or certain hp number?
