SeannyCash
In yall`s opinion, what would be an affordable but reliable set of rotors for an AWD truck?

Hankg42
Baer or so I've heard alot of people are running those I have Baer's, but they would be at the high end of "affordable". There are other options that I'm sure will be posted too. Check the "Suspension / Brake Tech" section of the forum for lots of information as well. T-Bag
I run stock AC Delco Durastops but I have seen EBC and Napa slotted rotors used a lot and heard they affordable. 70chevy03ss
Napa cross drilled and slotted rotors. And a nice set of pads. no problems here running them
Fireman31
If affordable means that you are on a budget, then stick with factory AC Delco replacements.......
MARTYW
I checked pricing on all of the ones mentioned, and if you are on a budget, none of the drilled and slotted are very "cheap". Especially if you replace all 4! Also, I have read on a thread or two on here in the past that several members have had problems with getting cracks in drilled ones. silverado777
I have the ebc USR rotors in front and soon to be the rears when I get my axle installed. I think they are pretty good with the yellow stuff pads. Drilled and slotted really doesn't do much since most of these trucks are just DD. I like the slotted just mainly for looks. But will be planning a hydroboost swap soon. I got my rotors from superbrakewarehouse.com. Whatever you decide do not go with the dimpled! They will annoy the crap out of you. hot rod truck
I just did the 2005-2007 rotors, calipers & pads. I used Raybestos rotors, calipers & Akebono pads. Pleased with the results and the price wasn't bad $277.49 + tax FRC11713 right caliper w/bracket FRC11714 left caliper w/bracket $36.40 ea. w/ exchange 580279 Rotors $65.00 ea Akebono ACT1092 (O.E. supplier GMT 800-900) $74.69 I went this way because the truck is a DD and I wanted an improvement using O.E. parts that can be purchased anywhere and affordable. All bolt on no modifications The braking is improved, less fade, better pedal feel. Already had SS brake lines. I won't use drilled rotors on a DD as I've seen too many cracked rotors on cars/trucks with them. Slotted only rotors work well if you don't mind the price. Hope this helps whatever you decide.
