cmoney23 Posted October 9, 2011 Report Share Posted October 9, 2011 Planning on doing 2" drop spindles in front and 3" hanger/shackle kit in rear. Ok are the hangers riveted in? Also is there anything i need to know about the leaf spring when removing the stock shackles? Because the leaf spring should have tension in it right? Dont want it smacking my arm or something? Miller812 Posted October 9, 2011 Report Share Posted October 9, 2011 Jack the rear of the truck up on the punkin a good ways up then put jack stands under the frame and then lower the axle back down and you'll probably have to play with the axle moving it up and down to find the sweet spot.
