nkolar
I just checked out http://autos.msn.com and they have the pricing for the 2005 Silverado SS (including the optional sunroof and sliding rear window). What I find interesting is that it appears the chrome wheels are now standard and the MSRP is almost $1500 less!!! Granted I don't know how accurate this is but in the past they have been right on the money.
I CORNER
Looks like you are right. That sucks for those of us who own one, as ours is worth less now. Rick
BOB47
Add the On-star and XM radio and trailering package and you're up to $41,000 same as ours. (list) Looks to me like it's just available with less on it to get a lower base price.
cwest94
That will really suck if it turns out to be true. I dont care to have a sliding rear window (dont like the way they look) but the power sunroof is something that I wish I had. Crap.
Scottlake
I was going through GM Auto Book at work and, trust me the truck does not cost less!!!! You can get cloth in the truck (standard cant get the bose's with this option) or opt for the leather buckets. Chrome wheels are standard, but you can opt for painted (this will deduct a grand from MSRP). I built one with Leather, 6-changer/bose, Auto Climate control, Chromes, Onstar and XM and it was almost 44k. Thats just too much cash. No wonder why they dont sell.
