cb2big4u Posted April 15, 2012 Report Posted April 15, 2012 I have recently accumulated a squeak from the rear driver side of my truck. It happens when I drive but also when I am stationary and start the truck or bounce on the rear bumper. I am thinking it is my leaf springs. My grandfather advised me to spray brake fluid on the leaf springs to lubricate it a little. Thought that could be kind of messy. Wanted to know if you all have any opinions on what it could be, how to fix it, and/or how to lubricate it. TIA, Chase. Quote
The_aSSet Posted April 15, 2012 Report Posted April 15, 2012 Don't think id ever spray brake fluid anywhere if any got on your paint it would eat it, try tranny fluid and acetone mix Quote
