gearhead6s
Have had my airbag light on for about 4 weeks. I screwed up and went to the dealership who charged me $130 to read the code and tell me it's "B0100". Service advisor proceeded to tell me that it's a 2hr job because the airbag sensor is under the dash and hard to get to. Google search while I sat there told me the fault code is for a front sensor. I declined the repair and while paying my "diagnostic" charge I flipped over the repair order and took a pic of the part number they quoted me "10370149". Now I bought a cheapo code reader and fid out it won't read airbag DTCs or clear them. Anyone know of a scan tool that is affordable and reads/clears the airbag codes? I just want to replace the sensor and clear the code myself.
