JAB'Z Posted May 19, 2012 Report Share Posted May 19, 2012 so two of my rear wheel nut studs broke and im trying to relace them but the two bolts two remove the whole caliper are super hard... ive tried no luck my uncles tried no luck its really tight on there i tried it with a socket wrench... does anyone know wat i can do to remove them?? 2bfast Posted May 19, 2012 Report Share Posted May 19, 2012 Best thing to.do is heat. Apply heat where the bolt goes into the caliper not directly on the bolt head. GM used a crazy loctite on these and was very generous. The heat will soften it enough to break it loose quick. I have found this is the best way.
