Truckaddict
Guys would you mind helping me figure this problem out.. Listen in the background for a tiny squeak/chirp.. It sounds like its coming around the passenger back part of the engine bay. I see no pulleys or anything so I have no idea what the problem could be. I just finaly fixed spark plug #8 but I dont see how a spark plug could cause a squeak.. Im not sure whats back there, if its another sort of belt or what. THanks! shawnss
what was wrong with the #8 plug? you didn't have to tap the threads or anything like that did you? did this start right after you installed the new plug?
Truckaddict
We didn't tap, it might of been a tad cross threaded but it's in nice and snug. No check engine light or rough idle. And the sound may of even been there before I just noticed it after doing plug 8. As that's around the area. I was thinking it might to do with the ac belt. It's some kind of bearing or something
cb2big4u
I had a sound like that when my A/C tensioner was cracked. Maybe something to look at. Or just pop the belt off and see if it still does it. I'm sure someone else will chime in shortly.
Truckaddict
I will hop under and check that belt in the morning! It's just weird because the sound seems to be coming from the ac area and not the belt. But it def sounds like a bearing/belt noise
gmJake
That sounds like an exhaust leak or possibly a vacuum leak.

gmJake
Is the dynomax bullet like a cherry bomb?
Truckaddict
I had the cb extreme and it droned like hell... With the bullets straight through design there's no drone and it sounds so mean at idle and WOT. Good price too

JC03SS
Sounds like an exhaust leak. Cross threaded that plug your gonna be in a world of trouble. If it started after you did the plug you atleast know where your prob is.
